Is anyone else dealing with World Cup withdrawal?
Seriously, FIFA you bring this incredible tournament to our country and then vanish for years. The last-minute goals, extra time drama, and penalty shootouts were electric. You’ve created a monster and don’t even realize it yet. Millions of American kids watched these matches and now see the true potential of the beautiful game.
In 1994, America was a very different country. By letting us host the World Cup again in 2026, you’ve made a major “mistake” you’ve shown us what we’ve been missing, and now we want more. Why does the World Cup only come around every four years? With today’s logistics and global interest, why not every two years?
I’m looking forward to the semifinals and the final, but then what? Like so many other Americans, I loved having the World Cup here and seeing how visitors reacted to our country. I hope we get to do this again soon.
Many of our guests experienced a side of America they’d never seen before small-town life, free refills, Walmart runs, Buckeyes, Texas-style ribs, and the everyday friendliness of regular Americans. This is normal for us. We shop big, say hi to everyone, and expect to find everything we need in one place.
I watched an amazing tournament, and I suspect a lot of visitors realized America isn’t what they were told it would be. They were welcomed into our neighborhoods and communities like family they hadn’t seen in years treated with genuine respect as honored guests.
We hope we can do this again. I know I enjoyed every minute of it. And can’t wait for the next World Cup. Come on FIFA at least make it every two years.

Trump derangement syndrome is a real thing. America is currently conducting a military campaign to keep Islamic fundamentalists from developing and fielding nuclear weapons. Thank god for the second amendment. They can enter every home but how many will leave alive. Islam is not a religion it’s a cult that must be stopped.
