I’ve also asked about beds to sleep in the day, and every one says their dorms close at 9am until 9pm, no exceptions. Is anyone able to help me out with a place to sleep during the day? i don’t need foo, or even shower, just a warm spot to get 6 hours of sleep in the day.
Full disclosure time: I am currently homeless. I work overnights at Walmart (11pm-7am), and the shelters in Peterborough require you to be in by certain curfew times or you lose your spot. i have asked about exceptions, and got no’s from everywhere.
@broteinpancakes I have hooked up EVERY TIME I’ve gone to the gym. 45 minutes working out, 2 hours spent ‘recovering’ in the locker room. 100% of the time
@JamCat6918 Not true. Things in math don’t just appear and disappear. Inside the brackets is always first, yes. But that still leaves us with 6 / 2(3). A number directly beside a bracket always implies multiplication. So 2(3) is done before the division here, not left to right 🤷🏻♂️
@orthodox_luke@Ori1589@moongleamdream Except we still haven’t rid the equation of the ( ). Yeah, we dealt with what’s inside, but after that the equation is 6 / 2(3) those pesky ( ) don’t just disappear until we multiply the out by the 2 still attached to them. We are then left with 6 / 6 which = 1
@dawoodahmad3113@Ori1589@moongleamdream Except dealing with what’s INSIDE the ( ) doesn’t eliminate them. You are left with 2(3). A number directly to the left of ( )’s with no space or other symbol ALWAYS implies multiplication. So in order to FULLY get rid of the ( ), the (3) is multiplied by the 2 next
@Ori1589@moongleamdream 🤯 Just because you dealt with what’s INSIDE the brackets/parentheses, doesn’t mean they disappear. You are still left with 6 / 2(3). We still have ( ) to deal with, the so we can’t move on from the very first step. So now we are left with 6 / 6, which is 1. Come at me 🤪
