Two of my grandsons are autistic and when I cannot make the hard morning easier, I feel how small I really am.
There are mornings when our home feels like it is trying to breathe through a clenched jaw. One sound lands wrong, the routine breaks, a door closes too hard and suddenly one of the boys begins to unravel.
The air feels charged. On full alert, my eyes start watching everything. His hands..his face..the way he moves across the floor. The little signals that tell me this may turn into something bigger than I can manage.
My mind runs ahead of mercy.
Can I calm him? How long will this last? What happens when my strength is gone? By breakfast, I can already be living inside a day God has not placed in my hands.
Anxiety does not always come because we love too little. Sometimes it comes because we love so much and know we are too small to save the people in our own house.
Philippians meets me right there, in the fear, in the ordinary room where faith has to put shoes on and walk: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” Philippians 4:6.
Paul knew prison walls and he knew weakness. Danger, uncertainty and pain that followed him from city to city. These words were never meant to shame trembling Christians into pretending their hands are steady. They call us to carry the whole weight of fear into the presence of God.
Prayer does not make me less responsible. It places my shaking hands inside stronger hands.
Christ has already carried the heaviest burden I could never lift. He bore sin, wrath and death for His people. So surely I can bring Him the burden sitting in my living room. I can bring Him the hard morning, the unanswered questions, the appointments, the aching love and the fear behind my ribs.
Peace is not always the room becoming quiet.
Sometimes peace is Christ standing near while the room is still loud.
So I whisper His name.
Every fear does not vanish. Just like every question does not settle. Yet the Father bends toward His child and the future begins to loosen its grip.
The room is still hard. My hands are still shaking. Tomorrow is still too heavy for me.
Christ is nearer than the next fear.
@w_bitterman Many don't get it. You get it. I read this and I feel it to my core. Thank you for putting it into words. Sometimes all I can say is "Jesus."
Millions vanished overnight #after

@RepMikeKennedy The LDS are not Christians. I say that in love. The doctrine does not line up with God's Holy Word. Paul says let them be accursed who preach another gospel (doctrine). Thats how serious and severe this is. Please remove yourself from the LDS and read God's Holy Word for yourself
I'm ready for new beginnings.
Completeness in Jesus.
I'm ready for Jesus to come get His Bride.
This world is not my home.
I'm longing for my real home.
The place no eye has ever seen before.
It will happen. My faith is sure in
Jesus Christ, my King.
An all-time favorite movie of mine about healing and forgiveness. The movie is beautiful but the real life story shared by a cast member during the end credits will blow you away! Watch on Fawesome TV at the link below!

Because of Jesus' Sacrifice on the Cross, we now have forgiveness of sins. We also have the power to forgive others their wrongdoings against us. It's not an option for the Christian. It's a command.
🫶🏻
It's the middle of the night.
Your heart stops and you die in your sleep...
Do you know for sure where your soul will go?
It's time to know for sure
Call on the Name of Jesus!
You have nothing to lose and
everything to gain.
Call out to Him right now with all sincerity.
The Bible is coming to life in our news headlines.
Ai working now with religion, peace talks, miracle “Jesus”- like drugs healing people and one step closer to the Third Temple.
There is NOTHING more important than getting right with Jesus.
We are in the last seconds, eternity is right around the corner.
Don’t waste it.
Jesus Christ and His finished work is the only way to heaven.
Every false religion has this in common:
A dead founder/prophet.
A false gospel.
A system of works.
No assurance of forgiveness.
Christianity stands alone because Jesus Christ rose from the dead.
There is one Savior, one cross, one empty tomb, and one way to God.
You CANNOT accept Christ after ur death. That takes out the urgency to know Him in the here & now. You CANNOT live ur life ur own way & then think ur gonna accept Him when you finally see Him face to Face after this life. Today is the day of salvation. Call on Jesus' Name now.
@MissEnderoni@MJH7797@JudyinCanada1@rabbriansamuel Absolutely, but He is not man that He should lie. He will not contradict His own Word. That's why there's a Bible written for all man kind to go by. Believing anything extra is not of God at all. God bless you.
