Feels like I’ve turned a corner — a lot more positive. Foot bandages getting changed 3x/week, got help in for dressing & laundry, & excited for news about my foot on Tuesday. 😎

So today is my birthday. Quiet day; oldest sister helped me with a hair wash, treating myself to a Mexican dinner tonight, otherwise just napping in my recliner most of day.

@kgirlartist66 I still pull the “I’m fine” card especially when it comes to health, mainly because I don’t want my family micromanaging my life. And there are a lot of things they don’t understand since they all still have living spouses. 😢

My sister helped me take a real shower for the first time since November. (She still thinks I need assisted living though my foot issues are healing.)
