Hey twitter friends! I'm moving to a new twitter account @sydnyman I've re-followed most of you there, but just letting you know!

[Syd / Rii @justplainrii]

In summary, tho? Acker, Blacker, Paul, and Paget all signed drawings I made! HOW COOL IS THAT

[Syd / Rii @justplainrii]

The @wits @thrillingadv crossover was so wonderful! More details tomorrow, right now I'm sorely needing some sleep.

[Syd / Rii @justplainrii]

Was I the only one singing along with the Workjuice theme? Spooky quiet in the second balconies... #wits

[Syd / Rii @justplainrii]

[Syd / Rii @justplainrii]

@whitneyarner at the mech table i mentioned that a Whitney got me into the show, turns out it was blacker's wife and she remembered you!

[Syd / Rii @justplainrii]

By the end of this show I hope that people that came for the @alyankovic end up becoming Adventurekateers as well! Go @thrillingadv! #wits

[Syd / Rii @justplainrii]

HORRIBLE PUN ALERT: what do you call an accordion virtuoso guest starring in an MN-based show? Weird Al Yanko-#wits ! (I'm so sorry.)

[Syd / Rii @justplainrii]

tl;dr don't be lazy about non-western settings and world building or you'll get furious tweets out of me.

[Syd / Rii @justplainrii]

If you're going to write a story set in a culture other than your own, and you don't do even a little research? Get out.

[Syd / Rii @justplainrii]

In other words I'm reading the book Cinder and I rage quit after two chapters because I'm not going to tolerate this kind of ignorance.

[Syd / Rii @justplainrii]

I don't care how cool you think Japanese culture is, this is incredibly gross and smacks of lack of research.

[Syd / Rii @justplainrii]

If you knew even a little bit about the actions of Imperial Japan towards China (and Korea) in WW2 you wouldn't even think of doing this.

[Syd / Rii @justplainrii]

OH AND ALSO DO ANY OF YOU FEEL THE UNFORTUNATE IMPLICATIONS OF A NEW JAPANESE EMPIRE COLONIZING CHINA BECAUSE I AM REALLY UPSET ABOUT THAT
