It's weird to be here again.

I told myself (and the world) that I was done with games. The Asylum decision and many of the events leading up to that moment left me in a place where the thought of game development made me feel sick.

But then I went to Tokyo. And at the Plushie Dreadfuls pop-up event, I met people from around the world who shared with me a common story. A story of how my games and plushies had helped them. And many of those people asked me to continue building game worlds around the mental and emotional health themes and...

Well, here we are. Concept art for Plushie Dreadfuls "Spare Hearts" and 2D asset sheets for the 3D models our little team will create to fill out this scene.

Yep, you heard that right. A little team. A programmer. A 3D artist. And our existing team of 2D artists. We have a game concept document. An idea for a mini vertical slice. And the weirdest thing of all (for me) an actual game engine (Godot) is being fired up! Wth?

And I feel really good about this. The people involved are all people I've known, loved, and trusted for years. We're all covered in the same kind of game industry scars - meaning we know where all the landmines are. Maybe we can avoid many of those this time around?

Anyway, here are some tree stumps. They may not look like much to you. But they represent a pretty critical rebirth for me and this little team 🧙

So yeah, if I was Toby I would be a part of this process

@ylovoir Dans le sens où il manque parfois des mots dans les phrases , des grosse fautes , parfois les tournures de phrases qui peuvent te bloquer sur un truc tout bête (genre "étalon" pour pas spoil ).
Concernant le SENS des mots je ne pourrais pas me prononcer par contre, mais ca fait -

There's a whole 271 page long book about how Undertale was translated into japanese and how meticulous that process was and what sacrifices were made in said process

And you really expect that perfectionist guy to want to translate the game into the language he doesn't know
