liking each other is the easy part. the real work is learning how to communicate, regulate your emotions, respect boundaries and being peace to each others nervous system.
I think the purest form of love is just wanting someone to experience life with you. "taste this. look at that. listen to this song." over and over. until you can't imagine experiencing life without them.
dissapearing on your partner after conflict when they need clarity or closeness is not giving yourself space. it is emotional abuse. the anxiety and abandonment wounds it creates are very real.
