It’s not as if these countries that we call “Saner climes” are not corrupt oo. The difference between these countries and Nigeria is the sense of accountability at the very least.
In Nigeria, there is no regard for law and order. From the impunity in the senate, to the shamelessness and abuse of power by security agents, to the total lack of regard for the Nigerian people, everyone is free to act as irresponsibly as they wish so far they have power or money.
The real problem we have is the zero consequence for actions. The rot in this country will continue to eat deep because no matter the gravity of the offense you commit or the amount of Nigerian lives that are at risk because of the reckless behavior of a few, money, power and influence will wash the guilty as white as snow.
@babtundescott I grew up in one of the most indigenous Yoruba states (ekiti state), some grand parents (mine too) lived more than 120 years and I never heard them reference Islam or Muhammad as anything 'relevant' to the Yoruba culture or civilization
Islam is your family thing, stick it.
@instablog9ja This is not about Africans though if you've been following US news for at least 6 months now.
The same thing that happened in Nigeria prior to 2015 presidential election is currently happening in the US. Illegal migration is been aided for some specific 'interests'...
@Wizarab10 I've read comments but no one is talking about the man, the possible realities he's prolly facing today.
Her sincerity does not validate or vindicate her, she messed up.
I feel for the man though.
