Being a teacher in your early 20's,is so weird, all eyes are on you. I'm closer in age with students than my co-workers , i have to pretend i dont know words like "tenda wema pewa" and "gotha" and randomly getting panick attacks of my students finding my social media accounts
I have tried living below my means and highly recommend that you just make more money so that even when you live below your means you are still comfortable and can afford things.
If you think that by punishing your father with silence and dismissal upon his presence will pay back for the hardness he subjected you to when he was beinging you up,you are very wrong. Ati baba yako akiingia tu kwa nyumba hivi nyinyi wote mnajitoa. Judge him all you want for now,but Someday you will understand what the necessity of his actions was. Fathers want to make sure their children are capable. Thats why they ask the most strict questions that most of the time,to a child, seems annoying. Umefungia ngβombe? Umefanya vile tuliongea? Umeendea ile kitu? Nyinyi kazi yenu ni TV tu?
He was not asking these things because he hated you. Or because he loves bothering you. Fathers have the biological role of instilling discipline in their children. Unfortunately most of the time, the father has had to make a very tough decision of choosing between being soft and watch his children become a waste in a man eat man society or be hard and watch them become responsible beings with direction but lose their βbondβ. The latter is usually the case most of the time
Unfortunately again, before you realize the sacrifice the man made, and that slowly you have become what he used to be,and that you should have taken more time to embrace him, talk to him,and even ask for forgiveness, your father is usually long dead. And the cycle goes on.
If your father is still around, visit him and talk him. I am certain there are things he has wished he could say for years, dont wait for him to say them in his death bed.
@DearS_o_n Some of the family members cannot be happy with the progress you make. Some will back bite you. Never let anyone waste whatever you toiled for, be mean never lash out your hard earned money because at the end you will be alone in climbing life ladders.
