John, may I draw your attention to this Petition. There are no indigenous peoples on the British Isles according to the government.

The UN convention frames it as a remedy for the historical legacies of colonial dispossession. I argue that these ought to be preventive rights afforded to every people, and not merely a post-hoc remedy.

We know the government will not rectify it; that is not the point. I want to bring this to 100,000 signatures and compel Parliament to debate, live on air, why Britons do not deserve the right to a homeland, and to show it to the world.
