There is this Nigeria family that are based in the UK; it is the husband who is 100% responsible for rent and other living expenses like council tax, electricity, gas and water bill. He practically lives from paycheck to paycheck with nothing left after sorting out all bills. He hasn't even been able to send money to his parents back home in Nigeria in over two years, to show how much he is struggling financially just because he is the only one carrying the home finances alone. On the contrary, the wife who isn't contributing anything out of her own income to the home's upkeep is singlehandedly sponsoring her youngest sibling through a private university in Nigeria, and she placed her own parents on regular monthly allowance in six figures.

The guy has become very frustrated in the marriage, but he keeps saying that he doesn't want to walk away because of his son. I don't know if he is in a state of self delulu or if he is just a victim of Stockholm syndrome, because I don't understand why a man will be in such a sorry situation but still insist on not getting himself out of the hole.

Some men are unfortunately married to their enemies.
