@NightosFoody First thing, romance was "subplot" of the Naruto. If it wasn't the main focus not every other character had love story with others + these external sources were written.
Second thing, after story ends of Naruto, isn't the main focus went to next gen.?+

In part 1, it was understandable but it went downhill in Shippuden where they had only 2 good moments together.

@justweshine Are you an idiot? The story is told from Sarada's POV, who is completely in the dark about Sasuke's mission and starts questioning things. But as the story unfolds, Kishimoto explains everything and shows how much Sasuke loves his family.

It made them believe that she's karin daughter.(Why karin is keeping sakura's umbilical cord?Why that guy thought that's karin's umbilical cord?)
Naruto acted strange as he blamed Sasuke+He didn't recognise his own daughter.
That made sarada more suspicious&she acted like that.

When sarada questioned sakura, she said she don't know if Sasuke wears glasses & get mad breaking her own home. This action of sakura was weird, that led sarada to learn more about her past. Then, she met that team taka member & he did DNA test with that umbilical cord.+
