Mackerel Sky, Eric Ravilious, 1938. Painted at Tollesbury in #Essex. Thought lost, it is now known to be in a private collection, was exhibited for the first time in many years in 2021 and is currently on display at @TownerGallery in the new Ravilious Gallery.
The Once and Future King, fantasy tales about the court of King Arthur, first pubd 1958. Title refers to the legend that Arthur will one day return as king. By T H White, born #OTD in Mumbai in 1906 (died 1964). An inspiration for many, with his science fiction & fantasy writing.
