THE BOYZ released an official statement through their attorney, stating that their contract with ONE HUNDRED has been terminated as of February 10, 2026:
— “The Agency has failed to pay the Artists proper settlement fees for all activities since July 2025, following the settlement payment for the second quarter of 2025.
Furthermore, despite the Artists' repeated requests to review basic materials such as contracts to verify the transparency of settlements, the Agency refused without justifiable cause, thereby failing to fulfill the basic and essential obligations of a management company under an exclusive contract.
Moreover, recent media reports have revealed circumstances suggesting that the Agency received prepayments amounting to tens of billions of won based on the Artists' entertainment activities. Despite this, the Agency has failed to provide any responsible clarification or convincing explanation regarding the current situation where settlement fees remain unpaid to the Artists.
Throughout this process, the Artists have silently continued their activities to keep their promises to fans despite long-standing uncertainty. However, the Agency not only failed to properly support the essential costs for the Artists' entertainment activities but also effectively abandoned its management duties, such as failing to pay the expenses of the dedicated staff members on-site for several months.
The psychological pain and pressure the Artists had to endure in an environment where even basic support was cut off were indescribable. Ultimately, they reached the judgment that they could no longer overlook or sustain this situation. With the somber conclusion that the mutual relationship of trust had reached an irreparable breakdown, they made the difficult and heavy decision to terminate their exclusive contracts.”

We, ARMYs, as dedicated fans of BTS, express our profound dissatisfaction with the recent commercial practices of HYBE Corporation, particularly concerning the abrupt discontinuation of wireless connection support for the ARMYBomb Special Edition. This decision, announced without prior notice, compromises the product's functionality during the concerts scheduled from March 2026, when BTS will make their highly anticipated return to the stage.
REASONS FOR INDIGNATION
🛑Lack of Transparency: HYBE has intensively promoted the ARMYBomb Special Edition over the past four years, encouraging fans worldwide to purchase the product, even during periods without concerts. In the last year, with preparations for BTS's comeback, this promotion intensified further, with the product being sold in pop-up stores around the world. The absence of clear communication about the imminent discontinuation of technical support enabling wireless connection violates consumers' basic right to information.
🛑Abusive Commercial Practices: The decision to end support for the wireless connection functionality of the Special Edition immediately after launching a new model of the lightstick suggests a strategy to compel fans to purchase the new version, exploiting the loyalty and emotional investment of the ARMY.
🛑Anti-Sustainability Practice: By suddenly rendering a functional electronic product obsolete, HYBE encourages rampant consumerism that contradicts the principles of sustainable development. This approach goes against the messages promoted by BTS themselves, who, in speeches at the United Nations General Assembly and on other occasions, have advocated the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
VIOLATIONS OF CONSUMER RIGHTS PRINCIPLES AND BUSINESS ETHICS:
❗️Right to Adequate Information: Consumers have the right to receive clear and precise information about the products they purchase. The omission of crucial details about the durability and support of the ARMYBomb Special Edition constitutes a violation of this principle.
❗️Ethical Commercial Practices: Companies must act with integrity and respect towards their customers. HYBE's strategy of discontinuing support without an adequate transition period demonstrates disrespect towards consumers and a lack of corporate responsibility.
❗️Commitment to Sustainability: Actions that promote the premature obsolescence of electronic products contribute to increased waste and go against the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), of which BTS is an active advocate.
OUR DEMANDS:
1️⃣Extension of Technical Support: We request that HYBE maintain support for the wireless connection of the ARMYBomb Special Edition for a minimum period of two years, ensuring that fans can fully utilize the product they have purchased at concerts.
2️⃣Transparent Communication: We demand that future updates and changes to products be communicated clearly and with reasonable advance notice, respecting consumers' right to information.
3️⃣Commitment to Sustainability: We urge HYBE to adopt practices that promote product longevity and environmental responsibility, aligning with the sustainability messages advocated by BTS.
The relationship between BTS and the ARMY is built on mutual trust and respect. We hope that HYBE recognizes the importance of maintaining this relationship by adopting ethical commercial practices, respecting consumer rights, and committing to sustainability.

If i paid the lightstick to sync and it stops syncing in less than a year that's a rip off and it's unfair
Stop defending a company just bc it's bts' company
