- the boyz have won their injunction case applying for the suspension of their exclusive contract with 100
- the legal representative of Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo and Eric said that the exclusive contracts are now legally terminated and are no longer effective
- the legal representative of the boyz also said that the court recognizes that the trust between 100 and the boyz is broken to an irreparable level because of the unsettled payments, failure to provide documents to verify the settlements and failure to fulfill their obligation such as management support and artist protection.
- the court also did not accept the claim of the agency saying that the contract signing fee is an advanced payment, saying that the signing fee is an amount proposed to the artist for recruitment considering their value and marketability -- and that this was a fact both agreed upon by the agency and the artist upon signing. the agency now saying otherwise is nothing more than a reversal and denial of their decision before.
- they emphasise again that the boyz will only fulfill the schedules already confirmed before the termination to keep their promise to the fans and to minimize damage to third parties
THE BOYZ have released a statement through their attorney, saying their contracts with OneHundred Label have been terminated:
“The agency has not paid proper settlement payments to the artists for any activities since July 2025, following the payment for the second quarter of 2025. Furthermore, despite the artists repeatedly requesting access to basic materials such as contracts to verify transparency in settlements, the agency refused without justifiable reason, thereby neglecting its fundamental and essential obligations under the exclusive contract.
Moreover, recent media reports have revealed circumstances suggesting that the agency received advance payments worth tens of billions of won based on the artists’ entertainment activities. Nevertheless, the agency has failed to provide any responsible explanation or convincing clarification regarding the current situation in which settlement payments have not been made to the artists.
Throughout this process, the artists continued their activities quietly for a long period amid ongoing uncertainty in order to keep their promises to fans. However, the agency not only failed to properly support the necessary costs for the artists’ activities, but also effectively abandoned normal management duties by delaying payments to staff who have been dedicated on-site for several months.
The psychological distress and pressure the artists had to endure in an environment where even basic support was cut off are indescribable. Ultimately, they reached the conclusion that they could no longer tolerate or continue under such circumstances, and, with the devastating realization that mutual trust had irreparably broken down, they made the difficult and weighty decision to terminate their exclusive contracts.
Despite this, the artists agreed that this situation should not cause harm to fans, partners, or other third parties acting in good faith.
As such, they have made the difficult decision to proceed with the April concert. In addition, they promise to responsibly and faithfully carry out all previously scheduled activities to the end. In order to repay the love from fans, they will do their best both in team activities and in their individual roles.”
THE BOYZ released an official statement through their attorney, stating that their contract with ONE HUNDRED has been terminated as of February 10, 2026:
— “The Agency has failed to pay the Artists proper settlement fees for all activities since July 2025, following the settlement payment for the second quarter of 2025.
Furthermore, despite the Artists' repeated requests to review basic materials such as contracts to verify the transparency of settlements, the Agency refused without justifiable cause, thereby failing to fulfill the basic and essential obligations of a management company under an exclusive contract.
Moreover, recent media reports have revealed circumstances suggesting that the Agency received prepayments amounting to tens of billions of won based on the Artists' entertainment activities. Despite this, the Agency has failed to provide any responsible clarification or convincing explanation regarding the current situation where settlement fees remain unpaid to the Artists.
Throughout this process, the Artists have silently continued their activities to keep their promises to fans despite long-standing uncertainty. However, the Agency not only failed to properly support the essential costs for the Artists' entertainment activities but also effectively abandoned its management duties, such as failing to pay the expenses of the dedicated staff members on-site for several months.
The psychological pain and pressure the Artists had to endure in an environment where even basic support was cut off were indescribable. Ultimately, they reached the judgment that they could no longer overlook or sustain this situation. With the somber conclusion that the mutual relationship of trust had reached an irreparable breakdown, they made the difficult and heavy decision to terminate their exclusive contracts.”

Ju Haknyeon, former member of #TheBoyz, speaks to @billboard about his removal from the group:
“I want people to know that the company doesn’t protect their artists and isn’t acting like a proper company. If I lose this case over something I didn’t do…the companies will certainly abuse this kind of situation again.”

Let's be real, the company is just trying to change the topic and put it all on Haknyeon because their former Co-founder was exposed on June 13th for actually paying for prostitution.
Funny how the company didn't tried to write a statement on his leave, but were quick for hak.
