CAPT. JOHN W. MURRAY INDUCTED INTO INTERNATIONAL MARITIME HALL OF FAME: In recognition of a distinguished maritime career spanning five decades, Captain John W. Murray, CEO of the Canaveral Port Authority, was inducted into the International Maritime Hall of Fame during a ceremony at Chelsea Piers in New York City. Capt. Murray and his fellow inductees were recognized for their leadership, vision, and unwavering dedication to advancing the maritime industry throughout their careers.
“I’m deeply honored to be inducted into the International Maritime Hall of Fame alongside so many respected leaders in our industry,” said Capt. Murray. “The maritime industry has provided me with extraordinary opportunities over the past five decades and I’m grateful to the many colleagues, mentors and co-workers who have helped shape my journey along the way.”

REMEMBERING CHALLENGER: It was 40 years ago today that we tragically lost the seven brave crew members of the space shuttle Challenger - Francis “Dick” Scobee, Michael Smith, Ronald McNair, Ellison Onizuka, Judith Resnik, Gregory Jarvis, and Christa McAuliffe. Their loss is beyond heartbreaking but their legacy lives on as our nation continues to reach for the stars. #NeverForget

Both of you are to blame. Disney wants more money for its channels, YouTube TV wants to pay less. When negotiations stall, you go public to apply pressure in an attempt to force Disneys hand.

The reality is, when you guys launched in 2017 it cost $35/month.

Over time the price jumped repeatedly: $40, $50 by 2019, $65 in 2020, $73 in 2023, and then $82.90.

That outpaces inflation.

The bottom line is you’ve taken advantage of a customer base time and time again while never really adding any significant value. You sold everyone on the “cheap alternative” pitch, built loyalty, and are now increasing prices significantly non-stop.

You’ve been exceptionally greedy.

Negotiate fairly and start putting your customer base back in the forefront.

Do better.

🚀LAUNCH SECURITY ZONE FOR SUNDAY 5/21/23: SpaceX Falcon 9 Axiom-2, will be launching Sunday, May 21st, targeting a 5:37 PM EST launch. A U.S. Coast Guard Security Zone will be activated 2 hours before the launch, starting at 3:37 PM EST.

🧑‍🚀MISSION DETAILS: Falcon 9 Axiom Space Mission 2 is a Crew Dragon flight for the private company, Axiom Space. The mission will carry a professionally trained commander alongside three private astronauts to and from the International Space Station. This crew will stay aboard space station for at least eight days.

📍LAUNCH SITE: Kennedy Space Center - LC-39A

For any boaters planning to watch the launch from the water, please avoid this area leading up to and during the launch of the rocket. Monitor VHF channel 16 for the latest safety information broadcasts and stay safe on the water!
