I just published the first reflection in my new AI, Arts & Learning series.
It begins with a simple classroom moment: a teacher moving his chair away from the front of the room and sitting down beside the students.
The post explores uncertainty, neurographic intuitive mapping, emotional regulation, and what happens when learning becomes less polished, more human, and more willing to leave evidence of its own beginning.
Sometimes learning begins with nothing more sophisticated than sitting beside someone, making an uncertain mark, and trusting that meaning may eventually find its way through the mess.

Self-awareness is a student’s first mirror.
When learners can name their strengths and struggles honestly, they begin to guide their own growth.

The United States did not attend the G20 in South Africa, because the South African Government refuses to acknowledge or address the horrific Human Right Abuses endured by Afrikaners, and other descendants of Dutch, French, and German settlers. To put it more bluntly, they are killing white people, and randomly allowing their farms to be taken from them. Perhaps, worst of all, the soon to be out of business New York Times and the Fake News Media won’t issue a word against this genocide. That’s why all the Liars and Pretenders of the Radical Left Media are going out of business! At the conclusion of the G20, South Africa refused to hand off the G20 Presidency to a Senior Representative from our U.S. Embassy, who attended the Closing Ceremony. Therefore, at my direction, South Africa will NOT be receiving an invitation to the 2026 G20, which will be hosted in the Great City of Miami, Florida next year. South Africa has demonstrated to the World they are not a country worthy of Membership anywhere, and we are going to stop all payments and subsidies to them, effective immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
October was silence. November is Vox Vitae — the voice of life returning.
Not a launch. A renewal.
To speak what gives life.
To serve what restores dignity.

Every lesson shapes the mind and the heart.
Teaching values is not an addition to learning. It is the purpose of it.

Metacognition teaches us to watch our own minds at work, the bridge from confusion to clarity.
We’ve also released the Beta version of the JVDT-7 Cognitive Framework and Moral Architecture on our site.

A classroom comes alive when students find their voice.
Listening builds respect. Speaking builds confidence.
Together, they build learning.

Education is not just about knowing. It is about becoming. When students see their stories in what they learn, identity becomes the engine of growth. Love. Respect. Happiness.

Emotional strength. Healthy relationships. Moral growth.
This is what learning should lead to.

Tonight, in the darkness of Kyiv, a promise will be kept.
Before midnight, https://t.co/yB3fruqrrb – In Her Words will go live: a living memorial to a life of teaching, service, and steadfast faith. This is not a monument but a continuation, of values, of voice, of vocation. Even here, under blackout skies, light finds its way.

Just before midnight in Kyiv, the sirens began again.
Tomorrow, I will press Publish.
https://t.co/yB3fruqZgJ — a living covenant, not an archive.
A story kept in trust will walk into the light.
Because love, steadfast and unarmed, remains the only kingdom worth serving.

Retracing my mother’s footsteps in Ukraine — 30 years later. This week begins In Her Words, a living memorial to her faith and work. By Oct 10, her birthday, we’ll open the Legacy Circle: where remembrance becomes mission.

Autonomy is not the end of teaching. It is its fulfillment.
The learner takes the controls, the teacher keeps the track true. Love, respect, and happiness remain the atmosphere.

October always carries weight for me. It marks both my mother’s birth on 10 October 1947 and her homegoing on 26 October 2021. I’ve written about her witness, her song, and her October.

Make thinking visible. Root on the board, one brave question, 3-line reflection, C-E-R check, save V1→V2→V3, share to a real audience. Plus a HOTS annex with quick upgrades: define→decide, list→rank, identify→revise.

Not all trauma shouts. Some of it whispers: the child who freezes, fawns, or disappears in class. Big T or Little t, both shape learning. Trauma-informed teaching helps us see beyond behaviour to survival.

ELA that leaves the page: small doing, real audience, quiet momentum. Today’s JVDT post shows two doors (model or pattern), a 3-line evidence log, and a 30–45s explainer for a younger class. Root held, Context real. Link below.
