Coachability Matters.
1. Average players resist coaching - they always have an excuse.
2. Good players accept coaching and do what’s asked.
3. Great players crave coaching - they’re driven to improve.
Which one are you? Are you coachable?
It’s called “snowplow” parenting.
When parents plow a path in front of their child so they do not have to face adversity or failure.

I have Asthma, allergies, dyslexia, ADD, anxiety, and Depression.
But I will tell you that what you have does not define what you can become.
Why Not You!
Playing time isn't personal, it's about playing the right players at the right time to get the job done. If an underclassman is better than a senior, there is no reason why that underclassman shouldn't start. I am sure most of my H.S. Coaching Colleagues would agree.
PARENTS: There are very few things that you can say from the bleachers that will ever make your child play better.
Just sit back and enjoy the game, cheer for your child, cheer for the team, and take it all in!
It will be much more enjoyable for you and your child.
Each game you coach there’s around 10 people in the stands that don’t like you.
They can be
- unhappy with their kids minutes
- jealous
- think you don’t know what your’e doing
- think they can do a better job
Stop worrying what others think, coach your best + be a good person

"If your body language is bad, you'll never get into the game ... I'd rather lose than watch kids play the way some kids play.
They're always thinking about themselves. Me, me, me ... When I watch game film, I'm checking what's going on the bench."
