🚨 MARYLAND’S KEY BRIDGE DEAL COULD SEND BILLIONS BACK TO DALI OPERATORS — MOORE FACES QUESTIONS OVER SETTLEMENT

A settlement approved under Gov. Wes Moore’s administration contains a provision requiring Maryland to share future lawsuit recoveries with the companies that owned and operated the ship that destroyed Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge.

▪️ $2.25 BILLION SETTLEMENT: Maryland reached an agreement with Dali owner Grace Ocean and operator Synergy Marine in May 2026.

▪️ FIRST $50 MILLION: Maryland keeps the initial $50 million recovered from shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries.

▪️ 50% GIVEBACK: Every additional dollar recovered is split equally with the Dali companies until they recoup their $2.25 billion settlement payment.

▪️ DOJ ALLEGATIONS: Federal prosecutors separately accuse Synergy of concealing safety problems, altering ship systems and obstructing investigators. The company denies wrongdoing.

▪️ TAXPAYER COST: Maryland bears the legal expenses of pursuing Hyundai under the agreement.

The state secured a multibillion-dollar settlement, but also agreed to share future recoveries with companies whose conduct federal prosecutors are challenging.

Why should the Dali’s operators receive half of Maryland’s future recovery when taxpayers are funding the lawsuit?

Attorney General Anthony Brown's office couldn't track or monitor nearly $63 million paid to outside law firms. That's roughly 70 percent of his own office budget. Gone without a trace. Auditors couldn't even pin down the full total because basic controls were missing.

Meanwhile, Brown files lawsuit after lawsuit against President Trump. Is this the stewardship Maryland taxpayers signed up for?

Imagine handing your paycheck to someone who can't tell you where it went. Would you do it twice?

REAKING: The black judge overseeing the gang-rape case of slain White LSU student Madison Brooks is the mother of a convicted serial rapist.

Judge Gail Ray’s son, Nelson Taylor, pleaded guilty in 1997 to multiple forcible rapes of teenage girls. She was his defense attorney.

She’s now set to decide the fate of the men accused of raping 19-year-old Madison Brooks before she was dumped on a highway and killed. The Louisiana Supreme Court refused to remove her.

This isn’t a conflict of interest. It’s a disgrace.
