My bad experience with @AmazonHelp@amazon and my 10+ year old account. Gift balance gone.
- Just over a month ago, i get an Amazon prime trial (plans to order a heaps of things, but forgot)
- Last week i get a payment failure on the prime membership
- Adding my new card fails
@AmazonHelp Hi Chloe, I guess you haven’t read my messages. My messages and appeals that are submitted via phone support are ignored by the account specialists. It is impossible to communicate with them
@AmazonHelp Received auto email overnight. Reason for closure is they closed another account for not meeting T&C. I have another old account that I don’t use. They know this. And they said I can use my gift card on digital products. I told them I don’t buy digital products multiple times
@AmazonHelp The one on Thursday, she said that it was most likely the ID I uploaded wasn’t clear/blurry and I’m stuck in the loop. But that doesn’t explain why I’m being ignored. And that’s like the 4th or 5th reason I’ve been given for my account being suspended
@AmazonHelp I responded to an email again today that was just an auto cancellation message for an order. Yesterday someone on phone support sent an appeal and I think Thursday last week I called phone support and they supposedly sent something
@AmazonHelp All of this has happened in the last few weeks and I haven’t made one order in that time. My last purchase was last year and i have had active prime memberships since then. My appeal was successful, so how am i in violation of anything?
@AmazonHelp I am literally calling the support service in America and all they can do is submit an appeal request to the specialist team who actively ignore all my emails
@AmazonHelp It seems like Amazon can’t even get the storey straight. My appeal resulted in my account being reinstated but somehow it’s also in violation. And now I don’t have access to my gift balance
@AmazonHelp It’s still active only for digital product purchases. I’ve been told it’s because of a linked account, then because of some error, then because of some policy violation, then the account was successfully reinstated after an appeal, then cancelled because of a refund violation
@AmazonHelp Did you read that I am being ignored? How can I work with an account specialist if I am actively being ignored. It’s like I am completely banned from support
@AmazonHelp I have called support 3 times now. Each time I was told that a request would be sent to an account specialist and I would receive a response. Never received a response and being ignored. Calling again today. Orders are still being auto cancelled.
@AmazonHelp Just for anyone reading this 👆”person” sends me this same message. I can’t connect internationally to this number. But Amazon support keeps telling me to do it.

- They claim refund abuse this time (can't get their reason straight)
- They limited me to digital product purchases only, can't purchase physical goods.
- They now do not respond to email.
- I am cut off from support chat
- I cannot use my gift card balance.
