The definition of comprehension is being dumbed down. Instead of inferential questions based on long passages, the SAT is now fact-based questions on single-sentence passages.

Grade inflation is baked into the architecture.

Toxic nonsense: There's no thinking without knowing (i.e., memorizing) facts. It doesn't do you any good that AI can find the answers in 0.3 seconds.

This is the same rubbish that is taught in teacher's college about preparing students for 21st century skills. Teacher's college instills in teachers the belief that there's no point in teaching knowledge because students can just look it up.

If you don't see the value in being educated and not relying on AI to do your thinking for you, if you don't see the value in learning how to write, at least understand that if you need AI to do your thinking or writing for you, then any potential employer will just use AI instead of hiring you.

We are sending our kids to school to memorize facts that AI can retrieve in 0.3 seconds.

We're preparing them for jobs that won't exist by the time they graduate.

The entire education system is training humans to compete with machines at what machines do best.
