@JohnTraddington What about this statement:
"The judgment of the Apostolic See, than which there is no higher authority, is not subject to revision by anyone, nor may anyone lawfully pass judgment thereupon."
@JohnTraddington Can you be more specific on what "sola papa" is?
For example, do you hold/reject this:
"This religious submission of mind and will must be shown in a special way to the authentic magisterium of the Roman Pontiff, even when he is not speaking ex cathedra."
@BritCathAes Fair enough. But good to also remember our eternal judgement does not rest on whether we attend the TLM or NO, but on supernatural charity abiding in our soul
@rtf_media@CatholicSOTC Why are you pointed that out? When throughout history has any religious order or society ordained their own priests with their own personal Bishops? Why would we change the way we speak to fit the sspx and their modern and novel floating bishop arrangement?
@MarkTezak You truly are a vile person. That man is a fantastic priest and you should get on your knees and confess your defamation and calumny against him before your judgement. You arrogant layperson
@Mary_is_Queen The only lie is dissimulation about having a mandate in the first place. And calling then auxiliary bishops when they are not. And taking an oath to the Pope while disobeying the pope. Those things are lies.
@countmaculad I like Michael Davies, but he did not win that debate and offered nothing if substance. He whipped up the crowd though. He was also deeply confused himself when it came to the consecrations and changed his opinion on it
@FreeIrishman7 Also, for your knowledge the formula from the new rite of episcopal consecration is in essence the same as the ancient formula in the Alexandrian Rite, which was used to consecrate St Athanasius himself and many other saints. Again, you are very ignorant.
@FreeIrishman7 Ok well you know nothing about sacramental theology and are a neo-donatist. FYI validity is not based on the holiness of the minister, nor on your feelings. Read St Augustine against the Donatists.
@CardinalThuc Makes sense. Calvin is a heretic member of the "old catholic" sect who reject Vatican I and are therefore apostate, heretics, and schismatics
