Since I have yard sprinklers, I've tried to use those metal PVC threaders that are used with hand drills, but they aren't worth a hoot. I strongly feel that a homemade tool like this would work. Since one of the few things that I can't do is weld, I do wish that someone would actually produce an actual tool like it. If reasonably priced, I would purchase a 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch versions!
