@adamcarolla Looked at the 2005 and 2020 studies. Among the elderly, all cause mortality didn’t move much as a result of getting the flu shot even though the shot did reduce death rates from the flu by 47%. Contraction? No… the flu doesn’t kill many people, so the drop isn’t noticeable.

Vanguard is mutualized/ owned by its investors. Few people gave more to regular investors than he did.

@mitchellreports @nytimes Mr. Barnes’ seems credible. But Connally’s adventure seems more like something he devised than something he was directed to do. Offering this deal in one world capital after another is amateurish. If Reagan had tasked him with this, Connally would have gotten the role he wanted.
