The Decora style light switch is one of the more detestable manifestations of the form-over-function design choices that plague American homes.

Why someone would trade the simple functionality of a standard light switch for this non-intuitive paddle and its early 2000s house trailer aesthetic is beyond my comprehension. Is it because they’re difficult to see which position they’re in from a distance? Is it because they have a wider horizontal surface area to collect dust?

Unfortunately I still have these in the bathroom of my house and they induce rage every time I use them.

I believe my next series of YouTube videos will be mockery of this and other ridiculous building trends.

Why is it whenever I say “boomers sold out this Country”

Do I mean EVERY SINGLE BOOMER? No..

But the 1946-1964 generation caused and allowed the government we currently have to get so bad.

Many of our “representatives” are literally from that generation and are still in office

They failed to pass on traditions and Christianity to Gen x, which led to millennials being virtually Godless

There was a long complacency and belief that the Christian morality this Country was founded upon will just continue on as if it was the default.

NO. It was so unbelievably unique in human history that America was the first of its kind. Stopped thousands of years of dictatorships, monarchies, and savage tribalism.

The failure to pass on traditions, the complacency in allowing government to educate your children when they removed God from every teaching, the failure to restrain government from growing so large it’s virtually impossible to hold anyone accountable for trillions of “lost dollars”

The normalization of a polygamous society where sex is nothing more than a good time. The allowance of a feminist movement that destroyed womens modesty and class. The way they incentivized divorce through court benefits and propaganda.

Let alone the championing of abortion *aka child sacrifice for a more convenient future* that has stomped out over 70M American lives before they even got a chance to articulate their own humanity.

Now millennials and gen z are mostly impoverished, no matter how hard they pull themselves up by their bootstraps. See women as whores who don’t want kids and vote in communist leaders.

Most don’t own homes or land or have any generational wealth because the boomers and gen x’ers failed to pass on family values. The propaganda of the 50’s that said 2-3 kids max, and by 18 you should kick em out and send em off to some stupid war, make them make it on their own.
The boomers and gen x’ers hold ALL the wealth. They own the houses, they have the retirements, they’re getting social security, *something WE will never see* and live off of Medicaid.

There’s virtually ZERO hope for any “social benefits” for my generation or my kids, or their kids. We can hardly build wealth because rent is so fucking high everywhere.

They ran the corporations that instilled planned obsolescence into every aspect of our lives. It’s basically an invisible tax on the working class to continue buying basic shit because it always breaks, and it’s more expensive to repair it, so just toss it and buy a new one.

So tell me, why isn’t it the boomers fault? Why isn’t it Gen X’s fault to pass on tradition, the ones who gave millennials their participation trophies and told them they’re special little snowflakes.

I’ll take the millennial L because half of them are useless entitled brats that never had a work ethic instilled in them.

I don’t even know what to say about gen Z. Why wouldn’t they be black pilled?

The problems we have didn’t start with millennial antifa dorks rioting against anything they’re pointed towards. They were disenfranchised long before that and are now ripe for the communists to whisper sweet nothings into their ear.
