@leicslive I use this underpass regularly on a bike (as a female) and love that it gets me across a main road with no time lost on my commute. Yes it has its unpleasant side, but the answer shouldn't be blocking it up. There's already surface crossings for those who don't want to use it.

Wow, the responses to this. I don't understand why people who love driving aren't more supportive of schemes to get people cycling: more cyclists = less cars on their route = less traffic jams for those that stick to the car. Win win surely?! But, as always, flat out rejection.

@BrettSmithProf Good to think of it in terms of principles maybe? And these principles include being flexible, open, honest, etc. Agree that a protocol as a process wouldn't fit so well with this.

1/ As someone with severe congenital hearing loss I’m searching for the best speech to text apps. Free apps such as Google Meet closed captions are very HQ. What I’ve yet to find is a reliable live “in the room” transcription app. I don’t mind paying for it but on behalf of
