@AgoraGolf@GolfweekRingler I think age limits/cap (19+5=24) is a missing piece of Lance's post. Current freshmen, sophomores and juniors would be eligible for a total of 5 years after graduation or after they turn 19, whichever comes first or when they turn 24. This year's senior's seem to be out of luck.
@ralphDrussoATH And one wrong turn you're heading over the wrong river, through a tunnel or up a massive mountain and you have no idea how to get back.
@RepBresnahan You're noticeably quieter about the President's unnecessary war in Iran that has driven the cost of gas up over $4 in NEPA and diesel over $5. You have agency outside of what leadership tells you. Use it.
@jamierkennedy@sscottpga Good year to be a Pennsylvania golf amateur/fan. Like you said the US Am is at Merion. PGA at Aronimink. US Jr Am is at Saucon Valley. And the Pennsylvania Am is at Oakmont.
@HardcorePSUFB Bad take. Focusing on the immediate (last 2 mos). New coach hired; narrative switches to what they bring (assistants, recruits, transfers) to program. McAfee, et all loves the White Out, loves THON, loves volleyball, wrestling & hockey programs. PSU athletics is going to be fine.
@audsnyder4 Watched the pod and wanted to thank you for coverage this year. Have been a subscriber to your substack and itβs great! Curious was Terry Smith the only person in tears in the room today? Reporters? Staff? Was it a surprise to you/expected he got so emotional?
There is something deeply wrong with a country that chooses to make running for their lives part of kidsβ back to school ritual.
When we finally passed a gun safety bill in 2022, mass shooting began to drop.
But it was an unacceptably small start. We must do more.
@hutch_golf For qualifying the course was setup great (Brook Hollow seemed impossible). There are some spots at TF that can get you, but the different shots you can play into and around the greens make it so fun. The USGA takes a beating from the Twitter-verse but they run the best events!
@hutch_golf Son played Tuesday. The course is amazing. Some of the nicest fairways I've ever seen (the zoysia acts like a tee and the ball flys!); the greens were fast, smooth and perfect. A really fun course to play. But hot!
@MMGOLFSTUDIOS Thanks! Accepting 25-30 feet even with wedge, so long as you're putting, needs to be ok. Other holes in the round where you'll have 105-108 and you can let it rip back (assuming max spin scenarios). Right?
