"I'm like you're getting up celebrating, and you made a tackle. That's your job."
Bo Jackson shares his thoughts on the biggest difference in the NFL today.
High school sports aren’t a participation trophy. Age and class don’t guarantee anything. The best players play because they help teams win, and coaches owe it to the team to put the strongest lineup on the field.
Speed option needs to find it's way into everyone's playbook, especially 3rd and 4-6 , 3x1 with teams that love to play man free back to the weak side with a 3 man surface.
It's a no brainer!
COACHES: Your job is not to mess with your player's heads to make them tough. Your job is to love them and speak life into them to make them strong.

The 10 Inconvenient Truths of Coaching
1. Not every kid wants to be great.
2. You will be misunderstood, often.
3. Some parents care more about minutes than the team.
4. Your best players aren’t always your best leaders.
5. No system works without buy-in.
6. Winning doesn’t silence critics.
7. Culture isn’t built fast; it’s built daily.
8. One-size-fits-all coaching doesn’t work.
9. Wins don’t always show your real impact.
10. The job takes more than it gives…until years later.
Still worth it.
Harding Triple Option punching Kutztown in the mouth! Watch #9. Everyone wants run spread and throw around. “Flexbone/Wing-T isn’t sexy or gets kids recruited.” Harding’s 6,000 yards rushing and headed to the Natty says otherwise.
Being a high school multi-sport athlete should be encouraged, not discouraged. As a varsity coach, I support players competing in other sports. The problem isn’t multi-sport participation—it’s coaches expecting year-round priority. That’s control, not development.
Lots of high school coaches could change their life and career if they played like Harding instead of trying to play like the Kansas City Chiefs. #RunTheRock
