@suemcco11 LRM is lovely and a great location (considering how bad JBR traffic can be). Been a few times. Dubai is not for everyone but if sun, service and safety are important it takes some beating.

@teaorcoffeesir I’d personally look at German or Japanese, generally more reliable and better built in my experience. The 3008 E is pretty good looking and as long as the range is good for you electric can make sense.

@suemcco11 You can hire electric scooters in the JBR/Marina area 😉. I’ve stayed at the W on the Palm a few times and it has a lovely beach/pool. To be fair, taxis are cheap, reliable and plentiful so getting around wherever you choose is easy.

@suemcco11 I’ve stayed on the palm twice (W), issue is getting around. You need taxis and traffic can be bad. Le Royal Meridian on the edge of JBR has the best location imho. It’s fabulous and has a private beach, 3 pools & fab restaurants. You can at least walk places like the marina.

@suemcco11 I went from an 11 which was fine aside from battery getting a little worse, to a new 16. To be honest, there’s not a massive difference aside from some camera bits. I’d possibly wait until you have to then you’ll probably get a 19 or something 😉
