@didlibertywin Depends on what source we are going with. One source has us only losing 2 games and has us with the 26th best offensive line in the country. Another source has us as underdogs in 4 CUSA conference games. So if the illustration is different experts can say different things?? :)

@RealPhierce @LibertyFootball Position your program better. There is nothing wrong with CUSA. The difference between Mac/CUSA/Sunbelt is not large. Sunbelt has better rivals nothing can be done about that. But instead of trying to create regionality ooc, just play as tough as an ooc as possible. Play 2/3 P5s

@RealPhierce @LibertyFootball Be in the playoffs. But since LU already did that and made a NY6. Just forget about that and schedule 3 P4s ooc. Be one of the few g5 teams that plays multiple P4s every year. Even if that means worse records, in the long run I think it helps recruiting & better (continued)

@lukedsimmons During the beginning of COVID when we were having online services, I had some midi tracks of old vineyard style songs that played on a soft electric piano & it played the entire time. Our online is audio only & I feel like the music helped me, I was calmer delivering the message

@JCStatsBoi Its literally happening right now. VT just cancelled a slew of G5 games with multiple g5s including some of ours. You know that ufonn isn't a fair comparison. I will agree if we had a national basketball championship and ESPN in our backyard then Indy would be an option.

@JCStatsBoi Plus they have hoops national championships and can leverage that. LU doesnt. I will meet you halfway & say I do not understand ooc scheduling. It would be worth it to pay the $$$ to play 3 p5s ooc ever year. If it can be done Even if it takes travel.Just have that asthe goal.

@JCStatsBoi I just don't think Ian looked at the situation and said-Im gonna tank the program and join CUSA. He saw the writing on the wall. CUSA was a lifeline for us. Its by far the hardest conference LU has been in. Little competitive difference between the g5s. Sunbelt doesnt want us

@JCStatsBoi CUSA/MAC/Sunbelt are almost indistinguishable in level of play. If the belt were better they wouldnt go 1-4 in bowl games against CUSA. Unless a g5 team gets the CFP slot-who do you think will play each other non bowls CUSA/belt/Mac teams play each other. AAC is slight stepup

@JCStatsBoi We experienced it when we were Indy FCS. Had good games when we got decent under hout no one would play us look at the rutigliano schedules. Look at how conference are getting larger and teams like VT are cancelling games with LU/ODU/JMU. The writing was on the wall.

@JCStatsBoi Our biggest FMS accomplishment was making the NY6 that only happens bc of CUSA and it happened with help from fellow members NMSU getting a timely win over Auburn.
