My dad drove a bus. My mom cleaned houses. Like many, we've worked hard toward our American Dream.

Yuma County Supervisor Jonathan Lines shares these important facts about what is at stake in the ongoing Colorado River negotiations. America runs on Yuma - that's why I'm fighting for a fair deal for Arizona.
“He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.”
Isaiah 53:3-5

With tensions rising in the Middle East and Iran continuing to threaten global security, this is no time for partisan politics.
The time is now for Arizona’s Senators @SenMarkKelly and @SenRubenGallego to do the right thing and pass full funding for the Department of Homeland Security. Our national defense and counterterrorism efforts depend on it.
When American safety is on the line, we must lead — not posture. Arizona deserves serious leadership, and our national security demands it.
