@Jack_Tomlinson2@huds8118@SmarProcurement@UnderTheLight73 And if that’s the case, those who have done the miles will be guaranteed a ticket. Why it won’t be fair is because those who farm points repeatedly at the top and sell on (which there are some) will continue to do that, so it would still be a closed shop, even with less demand.
@huds8118@Jack_Tomlinson2@SmarProcurement@UnderTheLight73 I’m in the same boat, on the cusp. Have lived 150 miles away from the ground since before we were relegated, so every home game, even those Tuesday nights in L1 and Pizza Cup games has been an away game. It won’t affect the vast majority of high BCP holders, but opens it up a bit
@Jack_Tomlinson2@huds8118@SmarProcurement@UnderTheLight73 But what about those who went to say 5-6 away games a season (so a quarter of away games) + every home game. Those people would have missed out on most away games this season as it went to 20+ after United for the final phase. I didn’t complain, but I welcome the change.
@pjennings73pj@JamesCopley_ Yes that’s true, but unless you’re on the cusp (where it would be fastest finger first anyway) you should be fine I’d have thought. If it allows more people to experience away games while still rewarding those who go to most, then I think it’s fine. Never going to please everyone
#SAFC are set to launch a new membership scheme tomorrow morning ahead of the new 2026/27 campaign - all the key details in this piece

@pjennings73pj@JamesCopley_ “The club say this ballot will come from 10% of the club's allocation from away fixtures, with a game-by-game opt in. The Black Cats point scheme will continue to operate separately and is unaffected by the membership scheme.” That’s from the piece on the site.
Well over 1000 games watching the lads and never witnessed owt like that outside a game pre-match. 4 turnstiles for over 3000 away fans, scanners not working, stewards no clue. Took over 30 mins to get in and missed kick off. Disgrace @ManUtd#SAFC@ALS_Fanzine@RokerReport
