We are really excited to share these data! This project was a DEEP dive into investigating the structural effects of cocaine self-administration on astrocytes, which revealed a surprising role for microglia pruning astrocyte membranes across abstinence.

@aemarquardt Feminization is driven by microglial TNFalpha, which supports survival of the astrocyte progenitor population during development and subsequently reduces the amount of play as juveniles. Check it out!
