@Laudetur_Iesus @schotts Not that they can't afford the registration... their catalytic converters have gone bad and/or their car WON'T pass the CARB Emissions standard. So no registration also means no insurance. Get rid of CARB & just do fed emissions instead.

@markCOrcs @a4waystop No HOAs where I live. Just good neighbors that like to keep their places looking good like i do. If we do have a problem with each other, then we just talk it out nicely. But we don't have any problems with each other.

@KCBully33 @a4waystop We've partially xeriscaped our yard w/ mulch & river rocks in parts along with flowers & planters...my wife loves to garden & mowing takes about 10 minutes front & back.

@cjoyellis @a4waystop My front & back yard are both partially xeriscaped plus paved patio areas in the back. A guy down our block in Aurora took out his lawn, laid down the plastic weed barrier & astroturfed his whole front yard. No HOAs here though.

@markCOrcs @a4waystop The guy who owns a house in the same block, that's who. Nobody WANTS to look like they live in the ghetto or the trailer park. Get to many crappy looking houses on a street & the whole neighborhood suffers for it.

@a4waystop I'd bet dollars to donuts that all of those people that didn't water & just let the lawn die... while not even trying to xeriscape are renters & not even home owners. That or physically unable to do yard work at all.

@CopsOnCamg59 THIS may be a skit but it DOES really happen in some places. My son lives in a rough part of town & this happens to visitors. 2 be fair they'll usually sit out & actually watch out for the cars though.

@NewRepublicanCO THAT'S funny! A chill third of the Denver city chill currently are all DSA members. Almost all of the rest are liberal and/or progressives.

Not sure but I think that there might actually be 2 or 3 actual Republicans on the city council.

@MattPinner_ Because lots of us "civilians" are actually veterans & subject to recall for active duty up until we're about 60 in "times of dire national emergency". They're technically tools of our trade that we go to the range & practice with...just in case we're ever needed again.
