~50% of Americans don’t even fly once a year but it’s extremely on brand for this specific “working class movement” to be over focused on issues that appeal entirely to spoilt brats & downwardly mobile liberal arts kids
The horrible conclusion I reached some time ago is that unfortunately modern America is a deeply tasteless nation in aggregate regardless of political affiliation or education level. You have a few pockets of actually good stuff in an unending sea of slop.
Every time these conversations start we go in circles, but two things can be true:
1) It is harder financially to get ahead than it was for previous generations
2) Many young people have insane issues with overconsumption and it's become so normalized they don't even realize
@bumbadum14 The hate is because it's really boring, especially if you're under 25 or whatever. Totally fine, maybe ideal, if you're 40 working a steady job, you just can't get into good trouble like you can in the country or the city.
it was inevitable that someone combined one of these children’s cartoons that’s really for adults with fanservice. there’s a whole slice of society who just want to jerk off and relive their childhood even as they approach and enter their thirties.
