Am obsessed with this 2-acre property minutes outside of Sydney.

An Australian family (the Zammits) has been living there for ~20 years. A decade ago, it was valued at $5m and developers have offered as much as $40m to acquire it.

The Zammits won’t sell and developers have been forced to build around it. The Zammit lot could hold 50-60 homes selling at $1m each, so a builder is looking at a $10-20m win if they can acquire the land.

Zammits don’t care. They have a 750m fence around the lot. Enjoy their 200m driveway and glorious front lawn. The neighbours say they are quiet and respectful and everyone is chill.
