🔴 NEW: More admin errors plague Scotland Secretary Douglas Alexander as Cabinet Office meetings log left incomplete. Comes after reports yesterday that his meeting with Global Counsel was declared 18 months late
Both Cabinet Office and DBT blame civil servant admin errors – but SNP want ethics adviser to probe whether the ministerial code was breached

BBC Scotland has assigned Lynsey Bews, Glenn Campbell, David Cowan, David Wallace Lockhart, David Henderson and James Cook to the Murrell story. Justifiably so as it's a big story.
Who's been assigned to the Douglas Alexander/Peter Mandelson story? It's quite big too. Anybody?
Remarkable levels of cognitive dissonance from Michael Shanks. He surely knows that Grangemouth Refinery was the main source of jet fuel for Scottish Aviation.
We shouldn’t even need globally refined products!
This Labour Gov’t is simply a Shitshow!
Two headlines on the BBC on the same day. One relates to the SNP Govt's attempt to cap the price of essential food items. The other relates to the UK Labour Govt's attempt to cap the price of essential food items.
Near identical aims, but completely opposite framing.
During the 2014 Indyref the BBC promoted a campaign video by a fake grassroots pro-Union group called 'Vote No Borders'. The video featured one Malcolm Offord.
Our little shop is really struggling and I fear this may be our last year so please take a look 🙏
A plea from the Nut Fairy we need your help to keep going.
Would any of you kindly like to support Mr Lumpy & Friends.
You can help by making purchasers or donations from our little online gift shop which not only helps us it also helps the wildlife organisations that we support.
If you can then this Nut Fairy very much appreciates it. 🐾🐾🦡🦊❤️

Grangemouth produced jet fuel for all of Scotland.
The UK Government let it shut.
Surely people are realising that outsourcing jobs, investment, emissions and energy security leaves us weaker, not stronger.
Scotland’s resources should be controlled by Scotland.
BBC Scotland needs to sanctioned for running misleading claptrap that voter turnout for this Holyrood election was going to be unusually low and that people were scunnered. Turnout was over 53% which is fairly typical for Holyrood and exceeded 2003, 2007 and 2011 turnout.
For the first time ever, there could be three nationalist, pro-Independence First Ministers across these islands.
Historic change is happening.
The demand for independence is growing.
BBC Scotland has much to answer for but promoting low turnout from a public service broadcaster immediately before a democratic vote and based on no foundation is serious.
I have contacted SNP leader John Swinney and Plaid Cymru leader Rhun ap Iorwerth to congratulate them on their enormous mandates.
For the first time ever, there could be three pro-independence First Ministers across these islands.
More and more people are looking towards a future beyond the constraints of the Union.
I look forward to continuing to build the friendship between the people of our nations, and to working closely with both John and Rhun in the time ahead.
Yesterday was another day of near-zero use of gas in Scotland for electricity generation - but with 100% of the electricity we use being charged the higher gas price. Today if we look at https://t.co/dNAm63NQyh we can see on the "Regional" tab that zero gas is presently being used (9:53 am). The link with gas needs to stop now, not at the end of the decade.
I wrote to Keir Starmer warning him not to appoint Matthew Doyle to the Lords due to his connection with a convicted paedophile.
He ignored those warnings.
And it now turns out he had even higher hopes for Doyle.
Just extraordinary.
