ATLANTA! A.W.A.Y. Festival is here!
I’ve been dreaming of this moment for a long, long time. To never have played my own show in Atlanta and then have our first one be the festival I’m throwing at @StateFarmArena feels perfect to me.
Let’s have a TIMELESS night we’ll never forget ⏳
You aren't rewarded for hard work.
You're rewarded for creating something of value.
So don't work extra hard on something you're not sure anyone even wants.
If men were informed in advance that the love of a woman they are romantically involved with is conditional, and unreliable,
they would be far less heartbroken when a woman leaves them.
Someday your kids are going to figure you out. I promise you they will. The type of parent you are. The type of spouse you are. How you treat other people. How much effort you put into them +
Only apologize if you genuinely think your behavior was out of line.
Only apologize if you believe you didn't match your own standards.
Apologize for what you did not for how you made people feel.
That's outside of your control.
You were not born to manage people's emotions.
I can’t express this enough, you have NO IDEA what other people carry with them everyday. You have NO IDEA what someone’s life is like. Don’t create more pain & stress to others. Be kind. BE genuine. Stop being so mean to people to fulfill whatever it is you don’t like about you
DO NOT RUSH YOUR DESTINY!
My mother's words to me in 1998. At the time I was at the crossroads of life: working as a Vet but desperate to become a notable musician. At that low, dark moment, her words calmed me. I share them today for anyone in a similar boat, at the crossroads.
if you date someone with depression, anxiety, ptsd etc, you have to make sure you are their safe home. Beware for the crying over small things, getting upset or angry over little things, over thinking,or not being able to sleep or go out. Don’t date them if you can’t handle it
