@ScottBilleck He has had many opportunities to show that he belongs in the lineup and has not proven that he does. Every time he's in there he's been "meh"...
@DarrinBauming He is saying that it's difficult for the GM to land quality talent because not many of them want to play here (but is bullshit because he loves it here). Having said that, he's hinting that he may not love it here much longer if the team doesn't improve.
@ScottBilleck Young guys only come up when required because they can be sent down without clearing waivers. The older guys are likely the best that Chevy could get who will actually play here. With ~50% of players having WPG in their NTC, that's most of the top players.
@ScottBilleck How do you know that Chevy didn't take some big swings at the trade deadline? There are lots of guys that won't come to Winnipeg. It's not easy for Chevy.
@acoyne It's scary but I'm afraid that this is just part of a larger plan which is to a) destroy relations between Canada and the US to the point where trade stops. b) continue to spew untruths about Canada and Canadians being "nasty" or even "evil". Then c) invade Canada.
@infidelatheist "In fact carbon emissions were up in 2022 from 2021.". Did they factor in that there was a huge decline in travel in 2021 due to the pandemic?
@jdawsey1 I like working from home, but if you prove to your company that your job can be done 100% remotely then it's just a matter of time before they get someone in India to do your job for half the salary. Might be worth going to the office a couple days a week.
@datadyne007 Yes, the driver in the video is 100% at fault but the pedestrian could avoid being hit if she was more alert and paying attention. I never trust drivers when crossing a street, even at a controlled crosswalk.
