I started by doing full stack development and app development. Now I am in full DevOps mode and deploying infrastructure at work.
Working in a small team has you doing a bit of EVERYTHING.
For work I use a windows machine.
In that windows machine I have a VMware workstation vm using linux. In that linux vm I have a vagrant vm running on virtualbox for couchdb.

This project has been COOKING me y'all. Been working on enabling wifi and bluetooth on our board. Finally got it working and my boss let out an audible gasp. Shit was ROUGH lol
I think I can add embedded developer to my resume😎
Been working on embedded systems project for the last few months that has been kicking my ass.
Finally got things running...
I'm not crying, my eyes are sweating 😭😭😭
I am creating custom drivers for our boards at work and this shit is complex af. I never though I would've ended up in the dev ops/embedded development world of software engineering.
When I am in the office and my PM is working remote, he remotes into the pc at work aka I can see his screen.
Seeing him watching Youtube tutorial videos is making me feel less like a deer in headlights. We are all struggling here 😅
Yo this is wild.
Amazon's "AI computer vision" self checkout stores was actually 1000 Indian workers looking at you through cameras.

Update:
Currently waiting on my first Linux image to finish building.
Will then attempt to flash this image and boot into some hardware.
Unsure how I've made it this far but we are cooking!
Learning how to create my own custom OS (linux) image for embedded devices at work.
This learning curve is STEEP y'all. I feel like a deer in headlights.

@brainfmapp legit gets me in the zone when I am working. I get into that flow state and stay in it. Been using it for a minute now and would definitely recommend for studying or working.
It is a paid service but I think its worth it.

I'm tired of this gloomy, cold on and off rainy weather but I know summer is coming. I'll probably be singing a different tune when its over 100° by 10am on a Tuesday.
Working with our production database always has me STRESSED. Every time I run a query I close my eyes and think "Don't break, don't break, don't break" 😅

Gentlemen,
When applying cologne, all you need is a spray on your neck and maybe your wrist (pulse points). PLEASE do not shower in the stuff. No matter how great you think it smells the entire building does not need to get smoked out in the stuff.
That is all.
