I used Claude to make a Telegram based finance tracker in 2 hrs.

No app. No subscription.

No dashboard to open and close and never open again.

The whole thing runs locally. FastAPI backend, SQLite, Claude API for the AI parsing, Telegram Bot API for the interface.

The reason I chose Telegram over building an app: I already have it open. Friction is the enemy of good habits.
