Thank you to everyone who submitted comments opposing DEA’s proposed emergency Schedule I placement of 7-hydroxymitragynine above its specified threshold.

I submitted mine 10 minutes before the deadline. This weekend, I’ll share my comments—along with my responses to DEA’s other pending scheduling actions.

Deep gratitude to the drug policy reform community, chronic pain patients, veterans, people in recovery, healthcare professionals, researchers, the kratom and 7-OH communities, industry members, friends, and families who stood together in this fight.

The comment period may be closed, but the fight to keep access to the kratom plant and kratom-derived products is far from over.

We, the people, will win.
