I asked a friend for kind of a large favor, invited her to say no and she did say no. To be honest I love her so much for it. It’s hard to say no, but it’s better than saying yes and then resenting your friend. Boundaries are a beautiful thing!

Seeing some very fervent believers in “he was just a kid” re American Idol, which is fine. But it’s interesting how many of these fine folks were screaming “he was a criminal” when CPD murdered Adam Toledo, a 12 year old. Very interesting priorities

Early this week a friend posted on Facebook about how homeless people should be housed whether or not they have made “bad” choices. Basically that having a home is a right and when I tell you the responses were disturbing, I mean wow. The hatred really shook me

@morganfeldon For sure! And sadly I am used to the idea that people blame folks who don’t have homes or have addictions. I expected indifference and superiority, but the level of hate was truly scary especially among friends of a friend

I just cannot stop thinking about how deeply disturbing it is that people are comfortable expressing their opinion that we should literally just let people die unless they “earn” food, water, shelter. That opinion is heinous and should be a source of deep shame
