@MRNRadio, Iโm impressed by the call Rusty Wallace made on lap 10. Entering the booth a few years ago, his style was very different from broadcasters with whom he works. The lap 10 call demonstrated tons of growth on his part and was as good as anyone in the booth would make.
@Accessible_Info Same thing happened to me. I figured out that if I tapped Settings>Notifications>Mail>Customize Notifications, email accounts configured on my phone were listed and none were set to play a sound. I changed it there and all again worked.
@ed_edwardson @RangerStation@LetsEnvision I purchased a BrailleNote about a decade ago with one. I think the FSA provider required a prescription or statement from an opthalmologist or optometrist indicating the device would contribute to enhancement of life due to a medical condition, but that was easy enough to obtain.
I know whatโs wrong with the @panthers. I bet coach Rhule was a guy who thought seeing a girl's bra or panties was scoring. As of this writing, both teams have scored 4 times, but one has scored 3 touchdowns while one has scored 3 field goals. He knows not the difference.
If any other screen reader user is struggling to find the link to listen live to the late model race on @MRN's website, you will likely find it better navigating by TAB or SHIFT+TAB. I did not see the listen now control using the JAWS virtual buffer.
@DGodfatherMoody@MartinsvilleSwy@mrn Thanks for clarifying. I am a screen reader user and the image lacked a description, so I'd nothing other than the text of your tweet to go on. Have a good broadcast.
@DGodfatherMoody@MartinsvilleSwy I went to https://t.co/w9zdNl61GM but could not find a link or control to watch or listen to the broadcast. I hope I'm not missing something super obvious, but if you or any of your Twitter audience can tell me how to tune in, I'm interested.
@aardrian Thatโs correct. If no content says something like, โdefinitions of terms in all caps can be found at the end of the document,โ I seldom contemplate case of text at all.
@aardrian Modern screen readers offer users the ability to have the software say a certain word, or emit a tone, when all caps is encountered. I think doing so is more difficult than many users know how, or would take time, to do. Reading braille, the all caps text is much easier to find.
@flashvertron @stevefaulkner As a blind user, I do not want non-text elements interpreted for me. I want the data provided completely and concisely so I can interpret, cite, synthesize, dismiss, consider, and comprehend that data as I would were I looking at it with my eyes.
@HawkSMI@SRXracing I would love to see the SRX cars on a roadcourse (COTA perhaps) or something like New Hampshire/Dover/Phoenix. Let's put the open wheel drivers on some tracks they've raced just as we have the stock car drivers.
I'm listening to a recording of @wncw's Saturday Night House Partyโข on Monday afternoon, and it's constantly disorienting to me. Mike did a great job with the August 6 show.
I bet further dissection of the numbers would show that some people who had previously reported not looking for work, thus eliminating them from the worker pool, are in situations where that choice is no longer sustainable.
I see coverage indicating the higher than expected #hiring numbers for July indicate a more robust #economy than desired by the Federal Reserve. I believe the added jobs actually indicate the weakening sought by the Fed.
@_aaronbnb I use a screen reader and I think it the epitome of rudeness for screen reader users not to wear headphones. I find screen readers absolutely disruptive to all other conversations and goings on in a 20-30โ vicinity.
