Chandrayaan-3 Mission:

The orbit-raising maneuver (Earth-bound perigee firing) is performed successfully from ISTRAC/ISRO, Bengaluru.

The spacecraft is expected to attain an orbit of 127609 km x 236 km. The achieved orbit will be confirmed after the observations.

The next firing, the TransLunar Injection (TLI), is planned for August 1, 2023, between 12 midnight and 1 am IST.

छोटे शहरों की माएँ नहीं जान पाती हैं 'नारीवाद'
और वो लड़ती हैं अपनी बेटियों की महत्वाकांक्षाओं के लिए,
उसका सारा समय बीत जाता है
जूठे बर्तनों को चमकाते,
सब्जी लाने वाले झोले के छेदों को सिलते हुए
फुरसत के क्षणों में वो गिनती हैं
अपनी पुरानी साड़ियाँ, बचाये हुए सिक्के, मेरे बचपन की तश्वीरें...
उसे नहीं समझ आता 'मेकअप'
उसे लगता है काजल और क्रीम न ख़रीद कर
वो बचा रही है पैसे दूर पढ़ने गए अपने बच्चे के लिए।

अलमारी साफ़ करते वक़्त
एक बार माँ को मिली थी मेरी एक अंग्रेज़ी किताब
उस दिन बड़ी हिम्मत की उसने
टो-टो कर, उल्टे-सीधे उच्चारण करते, हिज्जे लगाकर कुछ तो बुदबुदाने लगी थी
तभी कमरे में गूंज उठी पिता के ठहाके की आवाज़
और किचन में प्रेशर कूकर की सीटी...

माँ ने किताब रखते वक़्त जिल्द पर लिखे मेरे नाम को कई बार देखा
और अकेले में बहुत देर तक मुस्कुराई थी
उसे हर बात में संतोष करने की आदत है,
इस बार उसने यह सोचकर संतोष किया होगा कि मेरी ज़िंदगी उससे अलग होगी...

मैं कुछ मामलों में अपने माँ जैसी नहीं हूँ:
मैं अपना कमरा साफ़ नहीं रख पाती,
बालों में तेल लगाना भी मुझे नहीं पसंद,
मैं तरकारी ज़्यादा तीखी बनाती हूँ,
मुझे नहीं आती आधे पेट खाकर संतोष की नींद,
और मेरे पास हैं कई सारे सवाल,
अपने आप के लिए, औरों के लिए
क्योंकि मैंने पढ़े हैं माँ के मन के सारे सवाल
जिन्हें ज़ाहिर करना वे भूल चुकी हैं,
क्योंकि मैंने देखा है संतोष और समझौते को एक होते
माँ के 'फर्स्ट डिवीज़न' की मार्कशीटों में
आधी खाली पड़ी कविता वाली एक डायरी में…

मैं हमेशा से नाकामयाब हूँ उसे उसका स्नेह लौटा पाने में
माँ को किसी कविता में कैद कर पाना बेमानी है,
ऐसी कोशिश, मेरी खुदगर्ज़ी

काश! तुम भी अपने लिए थोड़ी खुदगर्ज़ हो पाती, माँ...
