This story is deep… Edoardo Bove scored his first goal last night since returning to football and a group of Roma fans from the London supporters club were there to celebrate the moment with him. 🙏🏽

Edoardo returned to the pitch with Watford last month for the first time since he suffered a cardiac arrest whilst playing for Fiorentina, on loan from Roma back in 2024.

He wasn’t allowed to play football in Italy again because of the subcutaneous defibrillator he had implanted but got an opportunity to begin his comeback journey with Watford in the Championship in January. 🤝🏽

"To have the opportunity to live this kind of feeling again is the main reason why I love football, to celebrate with my team, with my fans and my family.

“I have to thank everyone for this goal. It’s like closing a circle.”

Such a beautiful moment seeing Bove celebrate this milestone with both Watford and Roma fans… so glad to see you back on the pitch 🤞🏽❤️
