...yesterday, I was double par for my #NaNoWriMo project wordcount, well on my way to a double-nano. Today, I am less than half par.
I couldn't continue the novel the way it was, & going back far enough to get "unstuck" meant going literally all the way to the beginning.
I never worry about actual wordcount during NaNo, but I have also never actually completed a whole project during the month. I've never actually gotten to "The End" except on multi-year projects. This year, that was my goal, going in: get from beginning to end.
Welp.
All are safe. Every fish has been transferred somewhere new, & until such time as the littles have grown enough not to slip through the filter, the filter shall stay off. More work less panic for the humans.

Today's terror:
Three new betta fish. One Delta Tail male & two Baby Girl females, one about the length of my fingernail.
They're placed in a new 3-tank aquarium we got from a neighbor. Yay! Turned on, ready to go. Fish moved in, all stress over. Settling nicely.
Rain on the skylight above me, and my arm muscles are starting to knot up too much to type. I'm ahead on words, and want to just. keep. writing. But I will stop and listen to the rain awhile. Take care of your bodies, WriMos. It's important.
