@tutulismyname It's nice we have guys who have (semi-) plausible cases to make top teams but it would still be pretty surprising if any were actually selected. The gap is closing among our best and top team's best, which is good, but still a gap. Definitely levels to this.

@tutulismyname 6) Dest probably would not make Spain. If they went with true RB (which they kinda didn’t in their selection), Navas is the choice
7) Adams and Reyna are big time reaches (look at Germany's roster)
8) McKennie is reach (albeit lesser) as well

So the whole bullying thing goes out the window since it's more a matter of when (not if) he signs for barca. So why not take the $? Plus 17M is pretty damn good offer

@HagridFCB What is City's endgame here? They're turning down 15-17M so that he can walk for free in June? They have 4 CBs they've spent massively on so wouldn't they want some payment for a surefire departure. Say they win this game of hardball...there upside is getting (checks) 0 later?

@hmuforsex wholeheartedly agree. Priorities are LB and CB (Garcia, maybe one more depending on Umtiti / Todibo). They should upgrade RB if they can flip Semedo for somehting better. I'm okay with adding Depay. Def should sell Firpo, Wague, Vidal, Suarez, Rafinha, and Braithwaite for funds

@luism8989 @XavsFutbol Why doesn't Barca consider Reguillon as LB (20-25MM seems fair price)? Is it just a Madrid thing? Him and Fati had good chemistry in win over Ukraine. Feel he could be a long-term solution as team weens Alba out (and is a massive upgrade over Firpo whom I do not rate)

Reducing youth development?! Shifting schedule to capitalize on slow period in sports rather than elevating product is reductive

@PaulCarr @MenInBlazers I did a statistical analysis on the USMNT and concluded that they have been declining (including performance against CONCACAF foes) for the past 10+ years (you could really extend it back almost to the turn of the century - post 2002 WC).

@DrRoryoneill The federation is a joke and everyone in power has no clue. Unfortunately, it seems unlikely to change anytime soon.

Since people are so blind and naive to the reality, it's going to take many more massive failures and disappointments to really incite change. It's truly sad.
