I’ve spent the past month drawing a lot of illustrations for the FIFA World Cup 26!
As a Japanese fan, I started out cheering for SAMURAI BLUE, but before I knew it, I was completely captivated by the matches of other nations and couldn't stop drawing players from all around the world.
The reason I drew so many international players comes down to my big dream: to work as an illustrator on a global scale. I want to achieve this dream alongside a close, talented friend who speaks multiple languages and handles translations and negotiations for me.
Somewhere along the way, I had started to feel like that dream was out of reach. But seeing so many people around the world enjoy my art during the World Cup filled me with so much happiness. It reignited that passion in me and reminded me just how important it is to hold onto your dreams.
I am so grateful for such an exciting, fun, and happy time. To everyone around the world who looked at my art—thank you so much!
