$AAVE tripled off the june low, $58 to $183, and it's pushing through $180, a level it hasn't closed above since december
lending is catching a bid. i hold some aave and i like it above $144
but my real bag is $DOLO. same sector, $1B+ in deposits, ~5% of aave's revenue, priced at 0.6% of aave's market cap
when money rotates down the lending curve, the small cap is where it gets violent
I mean, look at the last 7+ days... $ETH has been contained within a very tight range between $2,650 and $2,730.
we know it takes very little buying from BitMine to sustain this, so whoever is selling here must either be an absolute fucking idiot or someone who desperately needs the liquidity.
Either way, once we're done chewing through this, we go much, much higher.
price $DOLO at $AAVE's multiples:
borrows → $0.144
deposits → $0.166
fees → $0.193
revenue → $0.250
it trades at $0.0307. every comp lands 4.7x to 8.2x higher
the thesis: same business as aave, $1B+ deposited, real fees, and the market prices it like a rounding error 🧵
Proof of humanity via an identity layer is going to become increasingly important. Idk if @worldcoin or another zk proof based identity protocol will succeed…but the TAM is large and the necessity obvious.
Worth watching.
the bear case: fdv is ~$31M, about 2x market cap, since about half the supply hasn't unlocked
run everything fully diluted and $DOLO still lands 2.5x to 4.3x on aave's multiples
that's the floor of the argument
@FoskeyBlai98254@Cryptoyepe@Dolomite_io@berachain@ethereum answer's one reply up. waiting for a stranger to go find it and report back has to be the least efficient research method ever invented. did you scroll past google on the way here?
@Cryptoyepe@Dolomite_io@berachain@ethereum mintable because DOLO bridges burn-and-mint over chainlink CCIP. burn on one chain, mint on the other, total supply stays the same. only planned new supply is 3%/yr starting year 4, it's in the docs
$DOLO came back to kiss 0.0295 this morning, wicked to 0.0293, got bought
breakout day did $2.3M in volume. yesterday did $164k. the sellers are not exactly storming the gates
two retests of the shelf, zero daily closes under it
hold it and 0.035 is back on the menu
@ChronicleLabs@CV_Labs@AlexanderVasyl@Chiliz tokenized trillions shows up the day the proof gets boring. nobody asks their bank for an audit trail, and RWAs win when attestations are that invisible.
📊 my whole book is two bets
AI creates demand for settlement nobody controls. politics pushes a wall of dollars onchain.
both of them run straight through lending.
buy $ETH and $DOLO
🥈 the aave-is-number-one argument bores me
number two is the live question.
i'll take the protocol with the widest collateral set and real revenue over the one competing on thinnest fees.
buy $DOLO
